Dear Faculty/Staff and Students:

The University of the West Indies, Mona hopes all students, staff, and faculty are safe during the passage of Hurricane Beryl. The university continues to monitor updates from the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) and will be guided by national announcements on the way forward.

The UWI Mona Campus will remain closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024. This includes all academic buildings, recreational facilities, and administrative offices. Access to the premises will be restricted for safety reasons. We will continue to follow directives from ODPEM and will update all key stakeholders accordingly.
