Short Course

This course is designed for Literature teachers to enhance their skills in teaching literary essay writing using process, product and genre-based approaches. Participants will explore practical strategies and tools such as peer reviews, checklists, and genre-specific writing guides to support student learning. By focusing on process, product, and genre-based approaches, teachers will be able to scaffold their students into writing advanced literary essays. Literature teachers will develop the capacity to guide students into effectively using textual, extra-textual and critical materials in their literary essays using MLA in-text documentation styles.
